The elbow with nipple is installed at the lowest point in the milking system at the receiver, the valve closes and pinches the drain hose attached to the elbow while the vacuum system is running, once the vacuum is turned off the valve releases the drain hose and allows the system to drain.
This elbow is commonly used with either 947461 or 62525 valves
