Consists of a 24" stainless steel coil and a rubber retainer. The sock diameter is exactly sized to the circumference of the stainless steel coil to allow for a snug fit and a filter that is supported at every point.
The snug fit reduces "blow outs" and increases filter performance. The coil fits all the way to the bottom of the filter eliminating a loose fit.
