BEFORE BUYING A MOBILE MILKER it is important to understand what you are buying, we quite often see "mobile milkers" for sale that are insufficient to say the least, we have seen all kinds of pumps used to milk animals: non-standard piston, diaphragm or worn out rotary pumps even pumps designed for use in air conditioning service. These pumps are often chronically under capacitated causing vacuum fluctuation and damage to the animal. The money saved on buying "cheap" mobile milkers is more than offset by the harm it does to the animals through poor milking. Mobile milking can and should be the equal of parlor or stanchion barn milking.
